This hip, art-deco hotel is in a good location near the University of Washington. The rooms are comfortable and modern, however there is little closet space. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.

I googled and found the Hotel Deca. It was an excellent location for my friend and her mom because it was so close to the University of WA. It's a central location in the U District, walking distance from a movie theater, resturants, and even a bit of a walk to Green Lake.
The room itself was nice. Neat decor, ipod dock, flat screen TV, and a city view.

My friend and I chose this hotel to stay at because it was in a good location. We were in town for a concert.
We had booked a room for 2 adults and were given a one bed room. The room was a crackerjack box...it was so small. When we asked at the front desk if we could upgrade...the clerk said "well, it's significantly more money" ...

I liked this hotel because the room was not your average boring hotel. The bed was comfy, the style was retro-modern, there was a great tv and dvd player, and an ipod docking station so we could listen to music while we got dressed for the day. We could see the space needle from the window, and it was fairly quiet during the night. Not too ...

Location was awful, would not want to leave this hotel after dark!

Staff are OK but not very well trained and the management seems none exsistant.

For the best service in the hotel go to the District Lounge where the food is well priced and the staff great.

The place felt like a cheap one star hotel masquerading as a nicer hotel with its superficially chic, but cheap-on-closer-inspection-art-deco furniture.

While this is an old hotel (circa 1910) it has ben remodeled and the rooms, while not huge are comfortable and clean.We liked the
free continental breakfast (even with the plastic plates) and we liked the closeness to the U of Washington campus.There is a number

This is a terrific place to stay while in Seattle. The staff is unusually friendly, the breakfast excellent and the location great. To top it all off, my room had a view of Mt. Ranier!

Good coffee shop, good happy hour, great breakfast, and nice lounge with wireless. Go there and walk around the Ave for some entertainmen. There are a number of grocery stores and resturants on University Way. Right off of I-5.
