  • We'll never go back there.
    By ktkrueger1, 06/02/09
The only good thing is that it's right on the water. But once you walk along the beach, then you've done all there is to do. There are no hiking trails, no other restaurants or shopping areas, no pool/hot tub, no other activities at all.

Worst of all, they lost our reservation and when we arrived there were no cabins left. We were put ...

  • great location, Poor resturaunt
    By S K, 09/07/08
Have been going to Kalaloch for twenty years. Love the cabins, but food is steadily deteriorating. Excessively expensive and bland. Used to be very good years ago. Now you are better off driving the 30 miles to forks to eat. Half the the price and twice the quality.

  • FAVORITE OCEAN SITE EVER!
    By NicoleM, 07/24/08
I have been going to Kalaoch since I was a little girl and look forward to going every year! The cabins afford you decent privacy and are perfectly accomodating. We were given what we needed and were allowed to bring our dog on our last trip out. A fair price for a decent room! And the beach is the best part with giant tidal pools a little ways up. I would recommend the cabins at Kalaloch to anyone!

  • Unique Views
    By Jessica, 07/03/08
No, our room wasn't ready by check-in but it gave us time to explore the beautiful beach at low tide. The prices weren't bad considering this is in the middle of nowhere. Would definately go back here for romance and relaxation. The restaurant in the lodge was not bad either.

  • LOVED IT!!!!
    By srhanson1983, 03/21/08
We took our first family vacation here & it was beautiful. We stayed in an ocean front cabin & ate in the resturant in the lodge. The best part was the view! My oldest daughter was three & still talks about how great it was. She calls it "our cabin". We will definatly return as soon as possible! I highly recommed this for a relaxing vacation. No phones & no tv are a great way to enjoy all the natural fun!

  • Exactly What We Expected
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/25/08
Its not the Four Seasons, but if you have realistic expectations, Kalaloch is a great spot. We had great weather, our cabin was clean and delivered on time (early in fact), and the food in the lodge was OK. Beds were a little lumpy; water pressure in the shower was great(economizer nozzle and all); the heater was adequate, but we relied on the ...

  • Where I go to find healing
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/27/07
I have been going to Kalaloch for years and years and years. The best time to go is in October or November or January or February when the storms are blowing and the surf is wild and the room prices are lower. Take a great book and some warm clothes and just soak up the energy. It is a great place to be alone OR with someone you love much. The food in the lodge is outstanding and the staff is ALWAYS friendly and accommodating.

  • Damp, dirty and disapointing. . . . .
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/29/07
We stayed in a dingy cabin that slept four. The beds were lousy, and the cabin as a whole was not comfortable. All rooms were damp and moldy and thus had an upleasant odor. One in our party could not stop sneezing. The bathrooms were gross and only two towels were provided though we had a reservation for four people. The dishes in the kitchen ...

  • ANTS EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!!!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/12/06
Sure, you're out in the great out of doors and nature is all around. That is part of the joy, but when hundreds of ants beseige your cabin at 10:00 at night, climbing into everything faster than you can sweep them away, it gets unnerving. They are in every fold of the curtains, in the wood pile, on the bed, on the table, in the bathroom, on the ...

  • If it's good enough for Laura Bush, it should be good enough for you
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/29/06
Laura Bush stayed here when she visited, read the article framed in the gift shop/restaurant lobby.

Great view, comfortable beds in a cozy cabin setting.

Try the salmon at the restaurant, the best!

Don't forget to go to Rialto beach, great place to do some tide pooling.
