This is one of the few hotels in my recent travel that I could find to accept a pet with a good location off interstate and reasonable rates. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was both hot/cold items and fine. Coffee and cookies available anytime. You could hear others somewhat (the child above my room was ...
The staff was incredible. I was there for 2 weeks and they all took time to call me, my wife, and our dog by name. This is the cleanest pet friendly hotel I have stayed in, even cleaner than most non pet friendly hotels. This was the 5th, and last hotel I stayed in around Fredericksburg, I will not have to move from dumps to fleabags in this town again to find the right place.

We stayed at this location a year ago and it was a HoJo. A year later, Country Inn & Suites has totally remodeled this location. It's very clean and it seems that the rooms have new furniture, fresh paint, great big beds, and clean carpeting. I have a small dog who travels with me at times, and there were several other dogs that stayed ...

When We checked in. The tall blonde desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. She went out of her way to help us get in the door and get delivery for dinner. She even called our room to see if we were comfortable. I would recommend Howard Johnson to my family and any one who travels

Pet friendy but clean

The hotel is pet friendly, but still suprisingly clean. You can't beat the location - about two minutes off of I-95. The breakfast is a joke - so plan on getting real food elsewhere. Calling it a continental breakfast is even a stretch. Overall not a bad place to stay for one or two nights.

Clean, plenty of towels, good shower, pet friendly. Most hotels give you a smoking room if you are travelling with a dog, but they gave us non-smoking. They also gave our dog a "doggy bag" containing a ball, food and a plastic poop bag. Our first floor room opened to a large grassed area where I was able to exercise our dog with a ball ...

Convient location.

They were remodeling the hotel, so this meant that the air conditioning was being worked on in the middle of July. The heat and humidity were unbearable. The hallways were a little smelly. The first room we checked into had a broken toilet. I hope their remodel is finished, but we will not be back.
