The staff is absolutely wonderful. The rooms were clean and the food was great! Can't wait to go back!

This is simply a well photographed Motel 6. Don't be fooled like we were!

warm..just out to "stay afloat", and not really about the community
environment that Stowe represents.

I would not really recommend the Commodores as a place to eat. The nightly buffet is pretty awful and the 'bar' menu is the usual frozen and fried junk. A hamburger is your best bet here.

We stayed for 2 days during our honeymoon and enjoyed our stay a lot. We are already making plans to return for our 1st anniversary. It is very convenient to the downtown. We loved the lake behind the hotel, it was very beautiful.

The hotel is poorly lit throughout. It's so bad that people were walking through dog droppings in the lobby without realizing it until it was too late. Lighting in our rooms was okay after we bought our own lightbulbs. The beds were lumpy and the pillows stiff.
