Do not stay here unless: you don't mind a hotel lobby that smells like urine and mold; steps from the parking lot to the front door made with cinder blocks; a pool that could be green one day and sudsy the next; and housekeeping service that is optional. COMFORTABLE AND AFFORDABLETHIS IS NOT THE RITZ. BUT IF YOU WANT A CLEAN, COMFORTABLE, AND QUIET ROOM THIS IS A GOOD CHOICE. WE STAYED 1 NIGHT ON THE UPPER LEVEL. So badFirst of all, the staff was friendly and accomodating- this review has little to do with their customer service. The rooms were disappointing, but seemed fairly clean. The inn smelled like cigarette smoke, despite being in a non-smoking room. Rooms on the second floor shared a common balcony and our sliding glass door did not lock- in fact, the ...0 of 1 Yahoo! Our stayWe stayed one night at the Deer Run Motor Inn. It is a simple and clean place with very nice staff. It is on the highway but it has a large green area in the back with a creek going through it. We were glad to stay there and whenever we are in the area, plan to stay there.
