Sandy beach,Swiming pools and Hot tubs on beautifully land scaped grounds,Lots of restaurants, gift shops,and entertainment near by.The Lexington Aircraft carrier and Texas state Auqarium were great.

It has been a while since I was there but I use to go every year from 1995 up until 2003, it was great with the specials they use to have. I am planning on a trip soon there.

I have stayed there a lot of times but I was refered to a lady who rented condos there her name is connie.she called lt tropical breeze. I gave her 400.00 as a deposit for a room. The week I was suppose to go my father died.I called her she said she would give me credit for the money. everytime I called to book a room she would hang up on me.I am very disappointed that you would let someone in your hotel do business like that.

From the moment we entered the gate until we left, I was very disappointed. The building and its hallways and rooms were terrible. when we viewed the online pictures of villa del sol, we did not expect it to be as run down as it was. Condo's are very small, beds are back-breaking, bunks are child size. Kitchen equipment was lacking. f.ex. it sleeps 6, but there were 2 glasses, or 3 coffee cups, and so on. The best part was the access to the beach. The beach was nice and kept. More then we could say about the condo.

I found this place on the internet, but little turned out to be what was advertised. First, at the sight where I discovered the condos, I had clicked on a picture of a rather impressive highrise condominium, which appeared to be a picture of the outside. Having spent summer vacation at Villa Del Sol several years, it was always great. However, the service this year has declind and the facilities now need a lot of maintenance. What a shame to let such a fine facility depreciate this way since it has one of the best locations on North Beach in Corpus Christi.
