It seems as though there are two hotels. One star and 5 star. I was in the one star suite. Gross! Moldy wash cloth on top of the shower rod. Water(?) spray marks all over the bath room walls. We can't believe the bad reviews this hotel has recieved.Its perfect,the location,staff,and spotlessly clean. A perfect hotel and perfect location for all Elvis fans.Don't read the bad reviews as we did beforehand,the excellent reviews are spot on.Have recommended Heartbreak Hotel to anyone wishing to experience the fantastic time we have experienced in Graceland!!!!!!!

I have dreamed about visiting Graceland my whole life! So, when was going on honeymoon there was only 1 place to go! Hotel staff was so helpful and rooms big and clean. And SOOOOO close2 Graceland! I cried when walked out of hotel snd was pretty much met by what has to be the most famous gates in the world! I loved it!

My experience at the heartbreak hotel was amazing if you r in memphis for elvis than this the place to stay.
Graceland is right across the road ..all the gift shops and museams r right at hand to.
I think the hotel could maybe do with a paint job also i could smell smoke .so i think it should be made into a non smoking hotel as its not pleasant ...

i reserved two rooms at this hotel and both rooms had problems. bathroom vent was hanging down, one chair was cut ,two of the buttons on heating system were missing,bathroomlight had rust on it,flush of toilet sounds like jet engine, caulk in bathroom looks like a two year did it,one room was next to the exit door and guest keep going in and out ...

The place looked like it would have in the late 50's and early 60's . to me that time
was tackey in home decor, so to like Elvis
you except his things or just don't go.
I have been two times and will go agin, so like I said take him the way he was or leave him alone, he was just a man..... Not GOD.

I booked into a regular room with my 2 friends and that was lovely.
A friend of mine payed for an upgrade and I had the Platinum suite to myself- I couldn't believe how beautiful it was.
It was a life time experience for me and has very precious memories of my time just across the road from Elvis!!!

We enjoyed our stay from beginning to end. Being around everything Elvis was an incredible experience. I'm so glad we went. Throughout the year I think about having been there.

Our stay at Heartbreak Hotel in Memphis Tn. Was a heartbreak. Elvis,if alive today would level this excuse of a themed overnite stay to the ground, and rip his name and any remembrance of him,and fling to the hitherlands. Upon entering the lobby,decked in sixty’s era furniture with Elvis soundtracks in the background,looking into the jungle ...
