Nice place with a clean room and very nice view of the city from patio/deck. Inexpensive, too. I think it cost me $35/night. Don't listen to the hyperbolists above; they have an axe to grind and probably don't like foreigners. I'd stay here again and have recommended it to others.

The people were friendly, offering to help any way they could. The clean rooms had good comfortable
beds, a microwave, refridgerator, and remote TVs; all were in good working order. I recommend this place to any one needing a good place to sleep at a very reasonable price. My family intends to return to the Kings Lodge. 07/07/2006

This place is the nastiest place I have ever seen. Example...if you walk across the carpets in white socks, they are black on the bottoms. The bathroom was awful. The staff doesn't speak English. The sheets were old and didn't stay on the bed.
Pay the extra cash and go somewhere else. This roach motel needs to be closed.

We had a great time in Chattanooga. The value was terrific and it was real convenient to our destination/s. We are return customers since 2002. It could be a bit cleaner. Customer service was okay too!
