We stayed in the original lodge and would go back in a second. You can sit on the front porch and watch the wildlife yet all the big attractions are nearby. The food in the restaurant is fantastic. Be sure to take the wildlife jeep tour - it's worth every cent.

This is a place that leaves our family with memories that will last a lifetime. :-)

Everything was great except they need to upgrade to at least queen beds. Double beds just don't cut it.
Lodge food was good. We ate breakfast and dinner in the lodge.
Staying in the park gave us an front row seat to watch the buffalo.

The State Game Lodge is a great place to sit down with family or friends. The food is prepared so well and the wait staff is more than exceptional. Also, the ambiance is so nice in the evening. This is the place to eat when in the Black Hills/Custer State Park.
