4 years and still returning....thinking of purchasing a unitWe have a wonderful time there it is great for families and couples. Heated pools and indoor pool, walking distance from Barefoot Landing.
1) We alway go in late September... there is no entertainment and only breakfast is available.
2) Tiki bar is open with entertainment in the afternoon somedays. Great Pina Colatas!

NOT A WINTER RESORTBecause of our work schedules, my family is fortunate to have a lengthy Christmas break and spending it at Myrtle Beach is always one of our favorite treats. Can't wait to come backI liked being there. The only thing I saw was wall paper pealing a little. However, I just assumed it was due to the humidity in your area.
I didn't like the fact that there was no coffee in our room after it was cleaned. We had coffee there when we first arrived but non after that.
THe view was wonderful and I could have stayed longer.

We go each year and look forward to it - can't wait until next year - may even try to take a short trip in the winter.I love the location. My family and I, have went to this resort for proably 9-10 years in a row. We love the location and the convenience. It's very family friendly. Every time we start to plan a vacation to the beach all of my grandkids say we have to go to the Beach Cove - it's a tradition.

Worst Hotel on Myrtle BeachI've been going to Myrtle Beach for over 25 years and this is the worst place I've ever stayed. Plan on 10-15 minutes to get an elevator. I was on the 10th floor and it was easier to use the stairs. Hotel staff is awful, you can tell they don't want to be there. Would return againI was really impressed with the room on first sight. The decor was beautiful and well fitted for the area. Check-in was easy and fast and the lobby was impressing. A Safe BetI've been staying at the Beach Cove off and on since it was built (about 20 years ago) and I can assure you that this is a safe bet. The location can't be beat. Perfect for Family Fun!This resort really has the set-up for any age group! With several pools, a lazy river, awesome restaurant, etc, you don't have to leave the hotel for anything!!! The service was rather slow and lazy for towels and the front desk was often left unattended, however, most of the time all of our needs were met and the cleanliness of the hotel (inside and out) allowed us to overlook these minor "dents".
