Great location, we were in walking distance to shops, restaurants, ghost tours.
They also had a really nice outdoor pool. Quite large, and it felt heated. I would definately stay here again. (We drove to the Lincoln diner for breakfast though).

Right Next Door to Battlefield

This is an awesome place to stay if you are looking for a place next to/on the battlefield. It is right next to the visitors Center, and very close to the area of Pickett's Charge/The Angle, etc.. Close and convenient to fast food restaurants; McDonalds and KFC are just across and up the road a bit, and who can go wrong with eating at ...

A Piece of Heaven on Earth

I took my mother to Gettysburg for her 50th Bday! I wasn't sure which Hotel to choose, but I am so glad I booked the Quality Inn on Steinwehr Ave. I've traveled and stayed in many hotels and have never found one with such a clean bathroom and room. Not to mention we were within walking distance to everything! The staff were very friendly. We had the time of our lives and when we go back, we will be sure to stay here again.
Huge rooms, great pool, great service, near the battlefield and near shopping. You can't beat the price. My son had so much fun at the pool, he could have stayed all day. IT has a diving board, hard to find these days. Breakfast could have been better.

Room clean, personnel friendly. Beware there is no elevator to second floor if you are handicapped. This was not included in any info. Woke up to some pesky visitors in room but maintenance took care of them. Very convenient location.

Staff not friendly

The air conditioner system is wierd, it works off of a motion detector - so if your out while its hot - its off - and takes forever to cool off. It was after 10 pm before it was comfortable, I heard lots of complaints, but the staff was not helpful. Location is great, you can walk to lots of atrractions.
The first time we went to Gettysburg we didn't know where to stay, how close our hotel would be to activites, the "normal" worries you have when you go someplace for the first time. We thought we would get a room at the Quality Inn and just take a chance. We thought if we didn't care for it we would look around and find ...
The best thing about this hotel is in fact it's Location...you can pretty much walk to everything. The value is also great. Me and 5 of my friends stayed here for about a week over the summer of '06 and the price was fantasic!! The room was clean and well taken care of everyday, so service was good. But, the pool was disgusting and when ...
The inn is in a great location for visiting Gettysburg, within walking distance of many restaurants, the historic old town, and the battlefield visitor center. I was pleased with the room size and furnishings: two double beds, a sofa, a desk, and a small table. Everything was clean and in good working order. The continental breakfast was minimal and overcrowded, so we drove down to Lincoln Diner.
