We just visited Lancaster to see Thomas the train. This hotel was only blocks away from Dutch Wonderland and minutes away from Strasburg Railroad. Our stay was nice and the price was very affordable. The contiental breakfast was well stocked with numberous choices. Especially the waffle maker was nice. We love to visit Lancaster with our children. OH, the hotel had a nice indoor waterpark and a pretty large size pool, which was heated.

DISAPPOINTED! Rooms had old style furniture. We had ants in our room. Not enough counter space/dressers. Bathroom too, too small and mildew around bathtub. We were traveling thru Lancaster and decided to spend the night at the Howard Johnson Inn. The staff was very friendly in giving us direction to the local amish gift shops. The hotel was well located and close to everything. Our rooms clean and pretty large. The breakfast was make your own pancakes, great folger coffee, donuts, bagels, muffins, ...

During our stay in Lancaster last weekend it rained the entire time. We were very glad that we were staying at the Howard Johnson Inn-Caribbean Indoor Waterpark. We had a fantastic time inside the waterpark. We even ordered Pizza and had it delivered to our table in the waterpark. We had a very nice getaway and look forward to staying at the Howard Johnson in the future.

This past labor day weekend we stayed at the Howard Johnson hotel. We did not know they had an indoor waterpark attached to the hotel. Our kids were very excited and enjoyed the entire 3 days at the hotel! The computer room had many games and access to the internet as well as the breakfast was very nice. The staff was friendly and accomodating.

I just stayed there first week of September 2009. I read these reviews online and thought wow, this place is awesome. I looked at the pics and thought, wow, this place is brand new! There are pros and cons but I just want to leave an honest opinion.

The hotel was very clean and the location excellent. Close to the outlet shopping and only minutes away from the Amish Farms. The best was that this Hojo had an indoor waterpark named Caribbean Indoor Waterpark attached to it. We had a great time since it was raining outside. The fee was only $12/person much cheaper than other amusement park charges and our kids had a wonderful time !
