The hotel was very dirty. I went with a school group and we stayed in many rooms.
One room had ants and food crumbs under the bed when we got there.
Another room had black hair in the shower and on the floor.
There was white powders on one of the floors.
Ceilings were low and very un-inviting.

This hotel was just OK with a few issues to note. First off it was relatively clean and served its purpose. However there were some things that made it less than desirable.

-Centrally located with easy access to Max train, but right on main road, so a lot of traffic noise even very late at night.

The hotel is a bit outdated. And some of our sheets were thread bare. But if you can look past that, it's a great place to stay for the price. We were able to walk to our events and several resturants were very close by.

The desk staff and housekeeping were very friendly. And free parking was a huge plus too!

The Inn is a no frills stay but it has great value. The staff were friendly and helpful, they were very accomodating. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.
The location was great - downtown was within walking distance and the airport is a short Max ride away.
I can recommend The Inn without hesitation.

This hotel is right on the Lightrail track, making commuting in Portland very easy. The rail stop is inside the free fare zone of the city, so you can go to downtown for free from the hotel. The rail also goes to the airport. Very convenient. If you stay here, be sure to put the Do Not Disturb sign outside your door at night because housekeeping comes nice and early.
