I purchased the Newport Aquarium pkg for $127 which included a room with 2 full beds, 2 tix to the aquarium and a $20 gift certificate to Chaucers. I was traveling with my son and my nephew, and a few days before our arrival, I called and asked if we could have a room close to the pool. We arrived at 12:30 and everything was ready for us, ...
I recently stayed at the Drawbridge (DB) with a group of friends after a day of skiing in Lawrenceburg, IN. We had read some reviews and we were slightly skeptical about how our experience at the DB would be. Well, to put it simply - the Drawbridge Inn is the greatest hotel in the universe in the history of all things hotel related.
I have been in this hotel for less than 24 hours and have the following complaints: 1. We were placed in a section of the hotel that was being renovated. There was no wallpaper in the halls (peeling and chipping). The carpet was old and dirty and it had a stale smell. We asked for another room due to one of the members of our party having ...

would not stay again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/15/08
the hotel is old, needs new air conditioners and some work. The room upon arrival smelled musty. The doors do not come all the way down and there is a large gap so people in hallways can hear your conversation. We asked for microwave, which did not work, and was not replaced. There were drinking parties in the hallways at 3 am 2 nights in a row. Would definately not stay again.

Enjoyable Stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/09/08
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Drawbridge Inn where the Olde English charm of the facility rekindled fond memories of my eight years in England. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and located in a nice area with convenient access to Covington, KY, and Cincinnati, OH. The hotel staff were most accommodating and very friendly. I ...

Don't let the photos fool you
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/19/07
There was not much to hype about here. The pictures online are misleading and make it look a lot better than it is. In all honesty, the place smells like mildew, hallways, rooms, everything. The floors look like they have not been shampooed in decades (probably explains the smell) there was a sticky spot from a spill at the bottom of the stairs ...

Perfect place for our wedding guests!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/31/07
Everyone went out of their way to accomodate us and the guests who flew in for our son's wedding. We were impressed with how friendly everyone was and always eager to help out. The rooms were clean and spacious. We loved the convenience of having 2 restaurants, always open...a totally positive experience!

Hotel of SHAME
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/30/06
We had no television service the whole weekend with 41 kids. How fun that was. The staff was rude & could have cared less about our problems. The place stunk & was very dirty. Will not stay here again.

Should be called Castle of Filth
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/20/05
We checked in, quickly dropped our luggage of in our room, and went to our conference. Upon returning to our room at 11 pm we found mouse droppings (not just a few but about 75) under the table and the air conditioner. The curtain valance looked like it was a prop for a Disney Haunted Castle, the dust and cobwebs were so thick it looked to be ...
