Not so great

The room had a piece of candy on the floor, right next to the bed.
The walls are pretty thin- you can hear through them easily.
The bathtub/shower area was poorly done and looked liked it needed to be bleached (at the very least).
The employees were nice, though interactions were limited.

Don't ever, ever stay here.
The place is filthy.
Mold around windows and in bathrooms.
small rooms with broken light fixtures, bathroom fans hanging, and ceiling tiles missing from hallways. Even the low price is not worth putting up with the mess.

Ok so I don't expect a lot for $50.00 a night but have had much better stays at Best Westerns etc et al than this place. The heater in the room didn't work properly, had to turn it to air conditioning to get it to heat. The face of the heater wouldn't stay on. The beds were dirty, however the sheets and towels were clean.

We booked to have adjoining rooms to arrive with the rooms at opposite ends of the main hallway. It was very dirty and the pool was under repair. The boxspring on one of the beds was broken. The bathroom was dirty and needed repairs as well.

Actually we stayed at the Settle Inn in July 2004 and had quite a good experience. So much so, we're already booked for this July as well. True, this is not the Ritz, but then again, who can afford the Ritz!? The rooms were of expected size and quality. We had three adults and two children in a single room with no problems. I would only recommend this hotel if you are looking for something extremely cheap. I stayed at the Settle Inn this past weekend and it was complete letdown.
