The Travelodge is under new ownership as of Summer 2009, the new staff are Great! The facilities were very useful, they now have wireless internet throughout the entire hotel, and a computer in the lobby for guest use. The breakfast was delicious. I would recommend this hotel to all who want to experience a wonderful stay for a great price, in Grand Forks ND.

If you are not from Canada stay away they dont want you!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Will never stay here again!!!!!!!!!!! The manager lied to us about long term stay believe nothing they tell you. Front desk staff rude to the max!!!!!!

lets see, tv had no remote and took the desk people two hours to get us one. the pool area is badly in need of updating. the beds too were well past their prime. the breakfast was a bright spot though.

I go to Grand Forks about every 2 months and everytime I am here I stay at the Travelodge. It is close to the mall and all the good shopping locations as well as many nice restaunts. I enjoy staying here with and with out the kids. The best bang for your Canadian buck!!

First time visit-would not go back. The pool was freezing! Our 1 1/2 year old could not use the pool. No one was using the pool. We picked the hotel based on the fact that our child could be in the water. Complained on several occasions to the front desk-first we were told they were working on the problem, then we were told they weren't aware of a problem. Did not receive any compensation for it.

My family stayed during a weekend when there was a hockey tournament, 2 basketball tournaments, and more in town. This is the only hotel I found that didn't jack up the prices for the stay over the weekend. Very fair business practices.
Hotel was extremely clean, rooms were big with a microwave and fridge, and staff was extremely friendly and accomidating.
The pool is warm and large - awesome!
