It is attractive and centrally located. However, the place smells like smoke. I move rooms but one room smelled like the other. The bathrooms also need work. The floors are chipped and look dirty. There is staining under the sink. NO PLACE TO GET A LATTE!!!!! Very disappointing. I paid $170.00 per night and I have to say that the Great Western (at ...
The Marriott was very nice, clean, with good staff. The rooms were high end and comfortable. I thought the bathroom however could use a makeover. The bathroom appears to be just average. The location of the hotel was great too as it was near N.C. A & T for homecoming. I had a hard time however trying to get to the front of the hotel because the entrance is hidden by the parking lot. Other than that, I'd return to this hotel next year.
It was fine. I probably wouldn't recommend it to my colleagues or friends, but it was fine for a one-night stay.
The staff was friendly and my experience was pleasant.
The bathroom did kind of bother me as I had to close the door because of a running toilet, but that's not a disaster. I also wore flip flops b/c the floor was kind ...
The hotel staff were friendly, respectful and totally 'at your service.' A nice change from other establishments! My room was great, down pillows, down comforter, plenty of thick towels ... comfortable! The room comes with cable plus PPV if you need it, Internet ($extra), coffee pot, iron & ironing board and the normal amenities. Our ...

They only have a 6 foot clearance on the top floor of their parking garage. My roof rack was ripped off. It's not clearly marked at all. The first 6 floors are 6' 9" clearance. Of the 20 vehicles parked on the garage that day 4 of them were damaged. 3 roof racks were ripped off and 1 truck was crushed down about an inch and the top ...
Marriott Greensboro Downtown is an awesome hotel. The price was right, the room was perfect, and the bed was luxurious. The staff was professional, friendly, and willing to make me happy. If I was going to complain about something it would be that they mistakenly left only decaf coffee in the room. Other than that, it was a great experience.
I have stayed at this hotel 2x-- 1st Stay was for 2 nights and the second was to be for 1, but it was so bad that I left for the Airport Marriott.
Where do I begin? During my 1st stay 1 had to switch rooms 2x due to soiled linens (in my initial room, and also the one they moved me into). Internet service didn't work in either room, and ...
