The setting and lodge are beautiful. It is a very peaceful place. However, I did not expect no a/c. It was difficult wearing a coat and tie dinner with it being so warm. I reserved a room, not knowing I was in a cottage. I did not find it as private as I would have liked. This is a wonderful place for families that want to camp in a easy way with the amenities of the affluent (golf, tennis, spa).

GREAT PLACE. THE STAFF WAS WONDERFUL, THE FOOD WAS GREAT, AND THERE IS NIGHTLY ENTERTAINMENT THAT IS FUN FOR THE ENITRE FAMILY. THE NEW SPA IS BEAUTIFUL AS WELL

We truly enjoyed our stay at High Hampton Inn. The squash casserole melted in my mouth. The pan fried trout was the best I've ever eaten. The desserts were to "die for"!!!
Hiking in the mountains covered with oranges, yellows, and greens was an awesome experience. Tasteful shops provided hours of shopping.
We didn't miss the phone, TV, or computer at all!!! We hope to make this an annual trip.
