Our paradise!The Hedges is truly a paradise for those who want to relax and enjoy the quiet. Have only stayed in the cabins, but they are very comfortable and clean. The dining lodge serves fabulous meals, and the after-dinner campfire outside the dining lodge is a true Adirondack experience. We love the place so much we keep going back every year.2 of 2 Yahoo! Will return each summer!our family had an amazing time at The Hedges. If you enjoy kayaking, canoeing, swimming, hiking, fishing, enjoying quiet time by the lake, then this place is for you. Beautiful - quietWe stayed at the main lodge (there are also cabins and another building). Very beautiful location right on the lake, rooms very comfortable, large and beautifully decorated. The sitting room and porch with rockers and adirondack chairs around the lodge is great - a great place to meet the other guests. The Hedges, Blue Mountain LakeThis is by far, the best, most relaxed, serene vacation I ever had. We have gone there twice, once staying in the main lodge, once in our own clean but rustic cabin with hot and cold running water. A beach on the lake has enough beachfront with a gigantic glacial rock that teenagers love to swim out to and play on.
