Had a good, if exhausting, week in the Affinia Manhattan. Not cheap by any means and this room in other countries would command half the price. Greal location. Rooms very spacious and quiet for Manhattan. Funny smell form the carpets. We had two rooms of different quality: one very good the other average. Service helpful, good recommandations.

The staff was friendly and informative--great for the tourist (like us!) The room we had was a suite, and though we didn't use the kitchen, it was nice to know we could have if we wanted to do so. It was close to everything. It was clean and close to EVERYTHING we wanted (went to see a Broadway show--only a few blocks from Times Square). Would stay here again!!

Based on the reviews and pictures, I booked this hotel for a recent trip. Unfortunately, the pictures on the web are very deceiving as to the actual look of the hotel. The lobby is shabby; it was not that clean; we chose this one for the spa, but based on the overall appearance of the hotel, we did not use the spa for fear of cleanliness issues. ...

Though I've have been to New York several times, this was my first stay at the Affinia Mahattan. The service was incredible. The staff was extremely helpful and hospitable. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The location was amazing, walking distance to many sites and close to several subway lines. I will definately be going back!

Location in NY is everything. This hotel is walking distance to more than a dozen popular places: deli's, Starbucks, Kinko's, Broadway, Fashion Avenue, restaurants and shopping of all kind. Located right on 7th Avenue, you won't have a problem getting any type of transportation but there's no better way to NY than walking. Note: ...

Concierge Heidi was super helpful with restaurant reservations and recommendations. Upgraded our room for no charge. Its an old building and the bathrooms could use an upgrade but were clean. Close enough to attractions and across the street from Penn Station.
