great place to stay for anyone who can afford it. clean and sexy place to stay. times square is really nice. service is amazing as well. this is just about the nicest place ive ever stayed.

I have tried several hotels in the NYC area -- Grand Hyatt, Sheraton Times Square, Double Tree Times Square, W Hotel on Lex. The Marriott Marquis is by far the best.

The rooms are spacious, it is quiet, the staff is polite, and the fitness center is state of the art. In fact, I checked into the W at Lex to get away from the crowds at Times Square. Needless to say, I'm checking out of the W at Lex to go stay at the Marquis!

was able to check-in early no hassle. The veiw from our bedroom was breathtaking. I'm a marriott reward member I received special pricing so we could afford a second room for the kids.

During a one night stay two different people entered my room with key cards. One was housekeeping and the other was guest at 7AM in the morning after the Hotel checked this person into my room. The only response from the hotel was "sorry, how about a free breakfast". I cannot imagine if I was a womand or if my wife was staying with me or by herself. I would not feel safe letting my wife, daughter, mother or any female staying there.

I loved the location and the view!!
The only dislike would have to be the non-smoking rule but it is completely understandable!! The minute you get to the hotel it like complete mesmerization of awws and ooohhs! My partner and I were speechless at the central location of the hotel! I would definitley travel there again!!

Now if you are thinking being in the middle of it all this is the place! My husband and I have stayed at other "swanky places" and have not found the full 5star service we found here! The room was always clean when we returned from our touring, the service was excellent, and the location is great. Close to the subway, and easy aceess to the tourist sites! The room was a very good size for this city. The view was awesome! The staff was very friendly and helpful to us. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to New York City!
