We had a great experience at the Mountain Club. For a lower price than the chain motels, you get an extensive spa/pool complex that was very kid-friendly, in-room hot tub and a great location. Did not try the hotel restaurants, but there are many good places to eat in town.
Not only is a very romantic destination, but it is also a wonderful place for families. We have been 2 times before, and we are returning this year. We did have a problem one year, but the staff went out of their way to rectify it. You not only can't beat the location, but the views are beautiful. With the pools, spa, horseback riding, ...
