We spent the Columbus Day Weekend at the inn. We stayed on the back of the inn in one of the rooms that had been done over this year. Great Room! Not only is the room up to date, new bath, bedding but they also triple sheet! All new sheets and large towels were a plus.
Afternoon wine and cheese on the house was nicely done, pool was clean and ...

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/25/09
Looks like nothing has been repaired or cleaned in 25 yrs this place is living on reputation from decades ago.Cold common rooms and bedrooms, ancient, hard, lumpy mattress, serious mold and rot on window sills throughout the inn, thick dust underbed and on ceiling fan.Hardly any furntiture and very little lighting in common areas. Friday night ...
We stayed last week and loved this place. Had a room over the river with views. They have newly renovated with new carpet, bedding and baths. As for the food, it was perfect. 2 thumbs up.
We took our 2 year old son to Story Land last month and a friend had recommended this place as it was away from the N. Conway traffic.
The room looked like a dorm, two full size beds with cheap carpeting, bedding and other fixtures. The carpet smelled musty and the ice bucket smelled of mold and still has water in it. They did not turn the heat on ...
My family booked two nights there during a trip thru the White Mts. we booked the “newly renovated” cottage. We checked in late the first night after a long day on road and were very disappointed at how dirty the place was, and there was a large patch of mold on the wall in the bathroom. We checked out first thing in AM, but they still charged our credit card for 2 nights, very poor service.

First, we liked the location and the dog-friendly accomodations - we were pleased to take a snowshoe down to the Ellis River and romp in the fields with our pup. The breakfast was good and hearty for a day of skiing ahead of us and the box lunches sure beat anything served at the ski area nearby. Our room was clean and quiet but the place was ...
