We were staying here for two days on a business trip to our company headquarters. Our airport shuttle left us off just after 9:30 PM, check-in went fine, but we were informed that we were too late for food in the hotel and directed to the vending machine instead because there are no restaurants open in the area in the winter.

Went to Hampton for a family wedding and stayed at the Ashcroft. We loved it - great room, food, service, valet parking, etc. We've already made reservations for July so we can enjoy the beach. Can't wait to go back!

I am currently staying in this hotel right now (9/07) and thankfully its only for a weekend. The staff here is very unfriendly and acts like you are constantly bothering them. The rooms are not kept up well. The most disgusting part though was all the hair in the bathroom. It was everywhere. Even stuble from a man shaving was in the shower. Do they even clean at all???

Best thing about this property is the improvements they've made in the last year. I talked to the bartender (Doug) and he said that there was more to come this year.
