Of course, I was there many many many years ago. It was cold and I skated in an ice show and stayed at the hotel. The owners were wonderful. I loved sitting at the fireplace in the lobby and having a hot chocolate. I have dreamed about going back for years. After my book is published I will return and take a room for a few days to find a home to buy. It is my dream and it will come true. I loved the view and everything.

This is a well hidden secret to the Northern Ca. folks. We loved the motel. The location and view are both spectacular. The rooms, have balconys and separate bedrooms, if you wish. We love the location and in the past there was a very friendly feeling from the previous managers. It is getting a little rundown and I understand there will be remodeling next year. With this remodeling will come very high prices. This year for the 4th of July, all of the "old timers" rooms were given away which caused a lot of problems ...

I took my wife here for our anniversary, the location by the lake was ok, the view was the only thing we enjoyed. The place was beat up. The rooms were small. Cable TV was fuzzy. The walls are thin so you can hear your neighbor. We stayed on a friday and saturday. Saturday night kids were drag racing and slamming on there brakes until midnight ...

We have stayed here each summer for a number of years and it is our favorite destination! The rooms are large, the location is fantastic! The breakfast works, the pool overlooks lake Tahoe.
The hotel is older, but it still works out well.

The room had a huge deck with a beautifull view. We had a great time and the room was very clean and spacious.

Whenever we go to Tahoe, my husband and I love to stay here. It is an older hotel, but its extremely clean, within walking distance to the casinos (1 block), and even has its own private beach! Plus, you can get a lake view room for under $100. We will definately be going back!

This hotel is great as it is directly on the lake and is near the casinos (although you would still need a car)and the decks off the rooms are a good size. The downside is that the rooms are very outdated. The kitchens are so old you really don't want to use the oven or stove. The bathrooms are very outdated and old and you are just hoping are ...

Closest hotel near the beach that is still in walking distance of the casinos. Rooms are spacious with full kitchens. Pool is on the premises, although it is small and not private from the road. I would recommend this place to people who are looking for a view of the lake at a great value.
