Rooms are dirty and old. No coffee maker. No mirror except in bathroom; this makes dressing impossible. Management staff, hospitality staff (front desk) and security staff are noticeably endertrained. They have forgotten they are in the hospitality business. If you have a security issue during your stay (which because of the behemoth size is ...

Happy we chose the MGM
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/19/09
We enjoyed our stay the MGM Hotel staff were friendly and helpful whenever we had a question They gave us an upgrade when we checked in and we took advantage of their 3rd night free offer Our only dissapointment was the overpriced (in our opinion) Grand Buffet and the limited selection (they haven't improved since the last time we ate ...
Restaurants were fantastic. Ate at Joel Robuchon, Sea Blue and Shibuya. YUM. The room we stayed in was newly refurbished with an amazing shower. Clean and comfortable. Would love it when smoking in the casino's is banned. There were non smoking blackjack tables. Over all my favorite experience in Vegas.
In 2010 I, plan on coming back to the mgm. I as well as my wife has been there for the last 4 years and we love it. but last time they gave our room away and did not make any adjustment towards a nother room without charging us. but overall its the best place to stay in las vegas to us !! Cafes are a little high but, as I stated there is no other ...
Despite the Hotel's claims, the rooms that are available in the West Wing are, in the opinion of this paying customer, far from an upgrade and are not worth the extra money charged. To start, access to the West Wing rooms require that you walk, what seems like the length of the massive hotel to the every back, passing along the way, the main ...
$17.00 for a Crown on the rocks in the Rain Forest Cafe, want to get ripped, of by all means be their guest.

Was a great stay. We usually stay off strip.

We had a bungalo suite however the view was the backside, but it was ok we we not there to stay for the view. Hotel smelled like fresh roses when we checked in . Check in was fast & efficient. Good place to stay, monorail was easilly accessible , our only beef was you can not find a store to purchase beer or wine for a nightcap in your room. ...
They had a boxing card in the hotel the day after we left. The hotel got very busy and noisy. Generally, everything was good. We found a disposable lighter on the floor in a non-smoking room. They probably did nothing more than vacuum the room. Restaurants were VERY expensive including the food court. Excellent price the first night.
Service was good, Bungalow suite was nice and big, ok location. cheap rates staying sunday-thurs..best vegas spot so far.

I've been to Vegas four times in the past few years and stayed at Mandalay Bay twice, MGM and Trump Towers. MGM Grand rocked- the pool, atmosphere, location, service was outstanding. Although, I'm tried of the seeing the Lion. I will be back for another 5 day stay in October!
