Like some of it's neighbors it is very much the place that needs a visit.

Great choice for a first-time visit to Vegas!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/10/04
It's great that MGM Grand was my first hotel choice, particularly when it was my first time to visit sin city. First, the good points: 1) Easy access to the other attractions on the strip - just walking distances from all the popular points. The new tram system also starts at MGM so you can hop around the strip with the above ground rail ...

I Liked my stay here
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/09/04
We got a suite with a jacuzzi, unlike the standard rooms, it was huge, the bathroom with the jacuzzi was a size of a room. We were treated tremendously. The food was good; and entertainment was good. It is a very large property so expect a lot of walking to get around. Lounges are nice and the food is good. Rainforest cafe is very good, get ...

HUGE
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/08/04
Very large hotel, keep the map so you can find your room. Rooms are decent and the location is great. Outstanding resturants from Nob Hill to the Rainforest Cafe. The pool is a trek so don't leave anything in the room. Cool river pool and pool bar, if you can stand the heat. Large casio with loads of bars. Perfect place to catch Madonna in concert. If your up to it check our studio 54, dress glam.

Very Small Standard Rooms at MGM!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/08/04
This hotel feature some of the smallest standard rooms on the Vegas strip(an average of $79 per night). The bathrooms are also small(we stayed at the emerald tower). The other bad thing about the biggest hotel of the world is the distance from any of the parking areas to the elevators that would take you to your room.

Decent Stay...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/08/04
I stayed here for a few days while attending a friends wedding in Las Vegas. The room itself is nothing to write home about...it was simple with two full size beds, TV, and a desk. The bathroom was nice and large and the shower had good water pressure. But when you are in Vegas, how much time do you really spend in the room? I have been told ...

i liked MGM's restaurants, especially the chinese restaurant, don't remember the name, but they offer surprisingly good authentic chinese food. the club 54 is not to be missed too. they also got great entertainment inside casino, you can watch shows while you play slot machines. Room in MGM is standard.

It's good but nothing spectacular !!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/07/04
We stayed in one of their economical rooms but didn't find anything extra-ordinary about the place. Rooms were nice and clean. Rooms are much like any other room in any of the big-ones on the strip. They have a very nice swimming pool but two of my friends(Not all) got some pretty bad eye-infection with whatever chemicals in the water. I like ...

Hit or miss, but really fun
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/07/04
When staying at the Grand, it feels like you could never leave the building during your trip to Las Vegas! Foodies will love the all-start restaurant lineup, including two new restaurants from Tom Colicchio. The multiple pools and lazy river are a great way to work off a hangover - be sure to reserve a cabana. One note - beware anything labeled a ...
