If you're looking for luxurious decor, marble bathrooms, and designer bed linens, this is NOT the place for you. Go spend $200 a night at the Venetian. But if you're looking for a reasonably clean, comfortable place to sleep and shower at a bargain price in the center of the Las Vegas strip, this is it. We paid $89 for 3 nights. ...
We recently spent 2 weeks at the imperial palace and we couldn`t have liked it more. The room was very nice and clean. It is a smaller hotel so you aren`t walking for miles to get to your room. It is convenient to everything. Can`t wait to go back only for longer this time

This hotel sits in a prime location on the strip but is well past its sell by date. A few blocks away stand the fabulous Caesars Palace and the Venetian but the blot on the landscape is the Imperial Palace. Quite frankly it is an eyesore. The lobby carpets are very stained and grubby, the paintwork is long overdue a make over and the rooms are ...
It’s VERY rundown! Our room was so bad it’s made the bottom worse 3 hotel (if that what you call it) we ever stayed at! Check in, TERRIBLE, 1 hour in line. The casino absolutely reeks of cigarette smoke. After one night we moved to the MGM, now that a nice property! Yes the old adage is correct, you get ...

Great for the Money
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/08/09
Great for the money, very clean, it is and older hotel so the do not expect nice fluffy pillows and bed spreads! We had read about the slow elevators and we never had to wait and we went over Labor day weekend! I would recommend it for the money!
The hotel isn't that bad, its cheap so you kinda get what you pay for. Its a little old and not as nice as some of the other hotels but then again if you really care about staying in a nice room then you would spend the money for a really nice hotel.
The restaurants are decent, nothing great nothing horrible...the cafe is nice for a ...
We had cockroaches in our room. When I called the front desk to complain, the girl said, "What would you like me to do about it?" DUH! I wanted a new room. I was told that I would have to come back to the front desk to pick up a key, and no one would come to help me move my stuff. I am handicapped, and it's hard for me to walk, ...
arrived and was in ahh over the lobby and shopping, the best part was the hotel adjectent to the Imperial with the toby keith bar. The hotel was very clean and staff were great. Was upset the pool closed so early 5 or 6pm, We were there for 3 nights. The pizza place was yummy but not very kid friendly.

The Imperial Palace had nothing imperial or palace - like about it. Some should call it the Unimperial Dump Hole. If you are looking for a hotel with a fair price and good location then look more along the lines of Bally's, Paris, Harah's, Treasure Island, or New York New York.
