This was my fifth or sixth time at the Imperial Palace. I went from Sept. 5 to the 8th 2006. I had a good time, but the place has changed a little since Harra's bought it, at least that's what I hear. I miss the little bar that now holds the Texas Hold'em Poker area. I enjoyed the live bands that use to play there. No more dancing ...

Center location not enough to compensate for poor place
This hotel choice was good for the location only. Access to the parking garage is tedious at best, with no walk light to keep pedestrians from blocking the entrance, wait times can be from 7 to 10 minutes. The parking spaces are too small to actually get large luggage in and out of the car. Getting up to the room around 10AM is very time ...

Back for more fun
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/31/06
My husband and I had the time of our lives. Although we didn't do much gambling at the casino at the Imperial, we did enjoy their food, especially the pizza up on the 5th floor. The show Legends of Rock and Roll was great and to this day, I'm wondering if that REALLY wasn't Michael Jackson in person, trying to impersonate himself????

Went up to Vegas with a few friends and reserved 4 rooms at the Imperial Palace. Two smoking, one non-smoking and one deluxe king suite. They all were filthy and had overwhelming odor. Even the suite was dirty and smelly. We bought "Lysol" to help give relief to the odor, but it didnt help. Many cleanable stains on the floors, walls, ...

luau what a disappointment
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/13/06
Wow, what a disappointment this was!!! We live in So California and visit Vegas at least twice a year and always thought about seeing this show, we did not enjoy it at all, it was a waste of $103.00. It was extremely hot and the misters should have been turned on, it would have helped. The food was not at all what we expected. the meat was ...
Hotel was set up so that you never have to leave. We stayed in a smoking room and it was very clean and pleasant. The best part of the place was the entertainment. About every hour or so they have four or five people dressed up as famous preformers and do a routine and then they stick around to deal at the tables. (Marilyn Monroe, Elvis, Blues ...

Great location but subpar rooms and food
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/12/06
My girl friend and I were looking for a place to stay while we enjoyed ourselves in Vegas. We choose Imperial Palace because of the location and competitive price. However, the location was the best thing we got out of it. It is in the center of the strip. The food is not that great. They have a 24hour tea/coffee place, but the food was just ok, no ...
Old style bet still clean. However, change room twice before get what I want - non-smoking and access to wireless internet. Beware, floor 2 to 5 no wireless internet access.

Imperial Palace Luau
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/01/06
We didn't stay at the Imperial Palace but my wife and I decided to attend the Luau. Please take my advice and stay away from this event. The entertainers were OK but everything else was horrible. The food was not very good - think really cheap buffet. The drinks were absolutely disgusting (alcohol and non-alcoholic)- very watered down and just ...
