The hotel is well located; closed to the freeway and downtown. In general the room was clean; and confortable. Check in and out was fast for travelers who don't have much time to expend in registration.

Restrauant had good food if you could get seated. I waited 10 minutes with no one to set me, then walked inside and they told me they are trying to find someone to help me,, in about 10 minutes... When we arrived the hotel was overbooked but we were given a suite at no extra charge. The room decor was a bit outdated but the room was very clean and had a great view of the Reno skyline. The food from the hotel restaurant was not very good.

I would tell anyone and everyone that this hotel was Great!!!!!! The staff was wonderful, they all were so very helpful. My room was clean, and beautiful. Thanks Holiday Inn Reno Nevada.

Pros: A good place to stay, if the bigger names(Eldorado, Circus Circus, Silver Legacy, etc) are either sold out or are too expesive as it was this past weekend. Good sized room. Provided the usual amentiies(body lotion, shampoo, and shower head).

Cons: One broken down elevator the morning of check out. One of the cleaning crews told us, when he saw us. It was about 10 minutes before the elevator going down finally came.
