Of all the Nevada Harrahs properties we've visited, Reno rates at the absolute bottom. The room was outdated, cramped and a considerable hike from much of anything. The selecton of slots - an admittedly subjective matter - was less than impressive. The layout of the casino itself was disjointed, with dark and dreary corners seemingly at every turn. We called the hotel to tell them that our flight was cancelled and we would be still coming but would be getting there late. When we arrived they had given away our king size bed room and would not give us another one. We tried to upgrade and for just one night after arriving late they wanted $100 and we would have to be out of the room the next ...

I have been to ALL of Reno's Steak House's- This is the flat out best, no question. Service is perfect, wine selection unmatched and preperation is superb. a MUST do in Reno.

The staff at Harrahs were so friendly and helpful - we were very impressed. Waitress at Cafe Napa for breakfast was attentive and bubbly - even for the 'early morning $3.99 special' crowd. Dinner at the Steak House was one of the classiest dining experiences ever - and the food was excellent. Parking was easy, location downtown was great, room was clean and quite cheap. We'd go back!

The front desk clerks didn't want to give out their non-smoking rooms to Travelocity guests.
At first they told us despite the fact that we requested a non-smoking room in our reservation, they are issued on a first come, first serve basis, and they didn't have any left.

The Steakhouse Restaurant at Harrah's Casino features gourmet food and outstanding table service. was in reno for the car show and the harrah's casino hotel has great special and the room were wonderful nice and roomy and the people were very helpful will go back
