I was quite impressed with the Golden Nugget. We got in from a really late night flight and had booked a room with a King size bed. My husband and I stayed at the Golden Nugget from June 9th to the 13th and enjoyed it very much. We had no problems checking in as there was no wait. I was there Last year and liked the room but felt the service could be much better! I feel the service has really improved! I found the room very nice except I felt it could use a newer fresher carpet! They did give me a much better deal however! I do Feel I would like to stay here again.

This was lovely hotel to stay in with a plentitude of restaurants in the hotel to choose from. My overall impression of the Golden Nugget was favorable. Here are some positives and negatives from my stay there:

Best place for the money it's. The people are more friendly down town than on the strip. And the pool is unbelievable. We have fun every time we stay there.

We thought this was well worth it. You could go site seeing during the day and party all night in old town.It was great!The pool was awesome, the rooms were good for sleeping,if you did any of that. The people that worked there were more than nice, they were awesome.they would go out of there way for you, to make you feel at home.
