My husband and I went on a Friday/Saturday night stay in January 2007. It was very relaxing for us (to leave teenagers at home). Food was good, but not exceptional. We utilized the buffet for every meal and could really have used a wider variety of selections. The room was comfortable, but old and tired looking. Maids seemed to have just done ...

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/14/06
All the staff is so friendly and gives such personal service. Everything in the hotel is so convenient. The spa is always hot and the pool is always cool. Food is always good and service is also. best casino on the river.
Great place to go and relax...Also close by is Oatman, AZ a very nostalgic mining town with shops and mules that live there to feed. A must see

Everyone was friendly the minute we pulled up for valet parking. Room was comfy and clean. The maid the next morning asked us if we needed extra items since we had three in the room. There was great customer service the whole time we were there.
We go to laughlin 3 times a year or so and always go back to the edewater. We use to stay a Harrahs but it has changed alot over the years where they do not make you feel welcome. Edgewater dealer are great, friendly, room are okay, but as for me I do not spend much time in my room. Centered in the middle of all casinos once you park your car it is ...

Like playing cards at the Edgewater
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/30/06
It all depends what part of the hotel your room is situated. We have stayed in GREAT rooms...which were comp rooms and we have stayed in old rooms that need a lot of work. The elevators in the old section are terrible as well. We like the friendly staff and gambling at the tables.

Will stay again.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/16/06
Stayed at this hotel in Aug. The room was very nice and clean. The casino looked like it had just added new carpet, very nice. Friendly staff. Most important was that the air conditioning worked. Other casinos we visited felt as though the AC in the casino had quit. We will definately stay at the Edgewater again.
Well, the building is about 50 years old, creaky, and smells terrible. The minute we checked in at midnight, we took the bd spread off, and found a dead spider on the bed, and an alove one on the table. The bed is uncomforable, the pillows fell like concrete, and the door has no locks. No air conditioning, extemely thin walls. Toilet with stains, ...
THE LOBBY AND CASINO AREA ARE VERY OUTDATED AND DIRTY, SMOKE INFESTING EVERYTHING...THE ROOMS ARE A LITTLE DAMP, BUT SORT OF CLEAN, MY SAFE WAS NOT WORKING. A DECENT PLACE TO STAY IF YOU HAVE TO STAY IN LAUGHLIN. OTHERWISE, I WOULDN'T GO BACK. AND THE POOL...UGH. INFESTED WITH CHILD URINE. NO WI-FI
