My wife and I stayed at the Linden and had a wonderful time. The hostess was gracious and we really enjoyed learning about the history of the house. The service was excellent and the souther breakfast was absolutely delicious.
My daughter and I stayed at Linden in May of 2005, which by the way is a great time of year to visit. We had an upstairs bedroom in the original old house. It was truly a step back in time. The home and furnishings are lovely. We especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast served in the beautifully furnished dining room, complete with its own ponca(or Shoefly). I would recomend this place to family or friends.
Unlike some of the larger houses Linden has a very homey feel and is very comfortable. A lovely hostess and furnishings we felt like we were at home when we stayed there over Thanksgiving.
My wife, daughter, and I stayed at Linden this summer and had a wonderful time. The house hasn't changed in a hundred years and really takes you back to a time before the Yankee invasion of The South.
A real antebellum home with sincere Southern flavor. Hospitality and charm, and a wonderfully quiet gallery and courtyard. A quick drive to the center of downtown Natchez.
