Very nice.Enjoyed all the Marriot had to offer and was surprised that Detroit isn't as scary as we all have heard. The staff at the Ren Cen was very helpful and friendly. sitting on top of the worldThe Detroit Renaissance Center is an extraordinary place to go because it is such a tall, beautifully architectured building. The views are gorgeous, especially when you sit in the revolving restaurant.

Great Hotel!The view, the view, the view!!! The room was very clean and comfortable, the service generally good. The hotel is right on the people mover route, so it's convenient to everything downtown. Ren Cen MarriottThe hotel is, by far, the best in Detroit. In terms of price, you might find better values, but for sheer class and service, this tops them all in the city.

Rude non-existant customer serviceI stayed at the Marriot because I was attending a conference that was held there. I made my reservations by phone and was quoted a rate of $170 per night - conference rate. When it came time to check out I was charged $220 per night, their regular rate.
