A great hotel in downtown Mo-town. Has a great location, an interesting lay-out, and nice rooms. Has good convention facilities not to mention rooms with a great view of the beautiful city of Detroit. Great place to stay if you're in Detroit.

We held a major conference in this venue which very well, hence I cannot fault the location. However visiting for the Auto Show was another experience entirely. We were searched and prevented from entering the hotel building because we had cameras in our hand baggage and security had imposed a 'no photography in the building' condition. This is the building with a shopping precinct, museum and the hotel!

My absolute favorite thing about this hotel was the view that had from the 42nd floor room I was in. At night, I could see the bridge that crosses from Detroit to Canada completely lit up. It was a magnificent sight to see. The hotel itself was absolutely gorgeous. I couldn;t ask for more...

I was staying the night for a concert at the joe louis arena and chose the mariot ren center despite some bad reviews I had read online the ren center is a great place to stay with the best views and service. It was a wonderful experience and the view was absolutly excellent i can't wait to spend another weekend with the marriott at the renaissance center.

my friend toke me to the renaissance hotel for dinner and we stayed in the hotel as well, it was a great experience and an amazing view of the city.

I like the environment, beacause they made you feel welcome and the building was clean, with an amazing view! The room was cozy and the room service was to die for awesome! I cant wait to go back and enjoy the view aross from canada.

Extravagant hotel with over 70 floors. There is a great view (Canada or Detroit) from every room. There is a movie theater on the main level near the front of the building (Renaissance Center). This is a nice hotel because it is like right in the center of everything. And you have a view of the water and good food places right at your finger tips.
