This place is FILTHY

This is the dirtiest hotel I've ever been in. The carpeting is stained everywhere and it smells throughout the entire hotel. Checkin was a disaster and the girl who checked me in was wearing a t-shirt and jeans. Very unprofessional place. It would be worth the extra money to stay next door at the DoubleTree. They also double charged my credit card. Do not stay at this hotel

Lobby staff let the phone ring off the hook!Clean towels, but had to ask...not enough soap, coffee, etc. Carpet was wet around the air conditioner, and the window leaked. There was a large rain storm, and afterward the pool had water that backed up and wasn't able to be used, although no one closed the pool. There was trash on the surrounding ...

When we entered the side door to go to our room there was a trash cart full of garbage and 3 large full garbage bags leaning up against in the foyer by the vending machines. This was still there in the morning when we left even though there was a dumpster outside the door and several employees passing by the garbage. The room was filthy around the ...

Great POOL

This hotel was a little off the highway but sat very very close to the bay. It was a nice walk to area eating and a beatiful view of the water.
The outside needed some up keep, but the pool area was the best I have found in a long time. The pool & whirl poop temp. was just right. It was also a great value with very friendly staff.

The Holiday inn in Bay City billed itself as business traveller friendly, but I was very disappointed to find it provided no internet access. There was some vague promise of it coming soon, but that did not help me!

OVERALL
Everything was just wonderful!

We were in town for the Bay City Fireworks Festival and there couldn't have been a better place to be than this hotel! We could have watched the show from our riverfront window if we were inclined! The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel was very convenient in location to all of our needs! Our kids loved the pool and we loved the hot tub! We couldn't have asked for anymore, it was wonderful!
