Forget it ! The Jared Coffin House is nothing like it was in the old days. Restaurant & Bar closed. The service poor. Very overpriced.

Location is great and easy walk to town.
Dining room closed, bar closed elevator broken and the rooms while nice...were tired.
Windows were filhty and without screens. Window airconditioner vents broken. Contiental breakfast was bread and coffee.
Bell staff was GREAT.

Other reviews decribe this establishment adequately, but the new owners have increased prices sky high and reduced service levels to the abyss.

My boyfriend and I decided to spend a weekend on Nantucket. The hotel is based on an old mansion and it is in excellent condition. The room was beautiful and the location excellent. The service was not as great! I felt like we needed to show we had money to be treated nice.
