I stayed at this hotel in late October 2008, and it was your typical everday Marriott with all of the amenities found in any other Marriott. But it is certainly not worth $279 to $439 + $19 per day for parking.

Yes, it is in the best location possible for walking Downtown Annapolis, but not for a premium of $180-$340.

I have platinum status with Marriott, but when I was checking in they still acted like they could care less if I stayed there. After contacting the manager, I was offered points as an apology, but then she never actually credited them to my account.

The recent redecorating of the hotel was due to massive flooding from Hurricane Isabel. The first floor was underwater, triggering water damage related problems. Those with health considerations that could be exacerbated by mold, etc., should be particularly cautious.

It's so much better now, not to say it was not nice before. But they upgraded many of the rooms, and some come with great flat screen tvs. I'm not sure if they all do; I assume so. As usual you can't beat the views.
Since it's winter the scene in the bar/dining area is okay, but during the summer it's the best place to be. Eating and drinking along the water. I can't wait to come back during June.

The location and amenties exceed my expectations. All the attrations and shopping are within walking distance of the hotel. Loved it!

loved everything, the people were so kind
we had a lovly breakfast out on the terrace while watching the sailboats go by. and at night while sleeping in the luxery beds which are so soft . the atmosphere was terriffic and newly renovated
