My husband and I, and sometimes our dog, Dandy, have been visiting Rockland and staying at Trade Winds for many years, usually twice a year. It's such a great place - walking distance to lots of interesting things and restaurants, and so close to the water. The boardwalk is wonderful. The rooms and service have always been very good and pleasant.

I came in to look at prices to get room for my mothers birthday and was greated by a ladie named Dot this ladie was very rude i asked for prices and was told that fine but then i asked about room availabilty for next thursday which was the 29th but I did not know the date at that time and the ladie said (oh god im telling you) not to me but in ...

We loved the view from our balcony and the location to downtown. This was our second time at the Trade Winds an we were treated very well.

They would never get my business, as a time share or a hotel. They only have 2 rooms available to see for a time share offer i went to see... while nice, (not used for hotel customers id say) they are small...and walking to them is NOT nice...suroundings are a mess, as they are under construction.

I had a very pleasant three-day stay at the Trade Winds. The view is extraordinary, the staff very pleasant and the room clean and tidy. The room was clean and gave us what we wanted. It was a little hard to navigate around the hotel due to the additons and different wings, etc. but soon found our way around. The roof sitting area is wonderfully cool in the summer and early fall. Great view up there, too. BYOB and relax!

We stayed at the Trade Winds Motor Inn, in August of 07 and absolutely loved it. The hotel is a little old but you can not beat the view or the staff.

Our luggage was lost and they were very accomodating in helping us get it back in a timely manner.

The food at the restaurant was great and the people could not have been any friendlier.

We are definitely going back and will stay here every time!
