It is directly across from the Maine Mall, easy walking distance if you want to hoof it. The desk staff has always been cordial and effective. The rooms are well decorated and the beds are very comfortable. There was a charge for wireless and this should be seriously reconsidered. Although it's an older hotel, the Sheraton offers most of the latest amenities. We stayed there during Portcon 2006 and they catered to the convention pretty well.
