While staying at the Hotel Monteleone, we experienced air condition problems. The problem could not be fixed during that stay, so the staff and management moved us from a $99.00 a night room in July to a $350.00 a night to the Governor's Suite with 3 rooms with no extra charge. Now that is what you call great service from staff and management ...
I love the 'old New Orleans' atomosphere this hotel has. The carosel bar is wonderful and the food and overall service is great. The rooms are unique and stylish. Best location in the Quarters-not too far to get all the noise and yet convenient to everything-including the trolley, casino and the river.
Hotel Monteleone was just the perfect price and location for us. When we went a few years ago in August, it was only $85/nite. Still now, the prices are reasonable. The interior was so unique and elegant...very European. I do have to say our room was pretty small, but I expected that knowing how old this hotel was. The room decor was very ...

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/10/05
I recently came back from a 7 day stay at the hotel and can say that this hotel definitely deserves a high rating for location, service and hospitality. Guest should be aware that even though its located a block away from Burbon Street, you might be kept awake some nights due to acapella street singers infront of the hotel (its great being ...
