This hotel was beautiful. Wow, I saw this cute door man my first night at the hotel he's fine and polite. The lobby is beautiful, and my little cousins enjoyed themselves at the pool located on the roof along with the gym. I love the carousel bar where I orderd cranberry juice and grey goose it's fabulous. The night life is even more ...

bad experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/25/07
i stayed over the weekend and was disappointed as soon as we tried to park. the lot was full so the valet told us we had to park 2 blocks away and walk back to the hotel. we had alot of luggage so we pulled up to the front entrance, there was no bellman or anyone to help us so we had to struggle to get in. we also had problems with the hotel charging us for moving drinks in the fridge. the charges were taken away but we had to argue.

Great Rooftop Pool and Stylish Hotel
By Val, 06/15/07
My experience at Hotel M was very good. The rooftop pool and breakfast buffet (although expensive for children/infants) were the highlights. The room was small but service was good. Crib came with cute toy lion. Tip-Load up sippy cups with milk and juice and take leftover cereal from child's plate to get money's worth. Bring lots of ...

Great ambiance, lacking in service
By joyce williams, 06/08/07
The location of the hotel was great. It was beautiful. The room was nice. The housekeeping service left a lot to be desired. We received nominal replacement towels, no clean coffee cups or glasses, no replacement tissues, and the bathtub was not cleaned sufficiently after our first night. We not only did not receive replacement cups and ...

Great Hotel
By Joe C, 04/23/07
This is a great location for French Quater activites. It is about 15 mins walk from the Superdome. Close to all French Quater sights and great places to eat. I would stay here anytime I am in New Orleans.
Gone to N.O. 2 or 3 times a year for last 20. First stay here. Absolute best. Much better than last 3 stays in a "5 Star". Comfortable, clean, beautiful furnishings @ great location. EVERY staff member looked me in the eye & greeted me. If I looked the least lost I was consistently asked if there was anything they could do for me. Food was exceptional. Only place we will stay now.

Wonderful Stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/02/07
If you like stepping into a grand hotel of yesteryear then this is the place for you. The hotel is right in the middle of the bustling French Quarter but when you have had enough you are only steps away from the peace and quiet of your room. We found the hotel manager to be very accomodating. The service was excellent. The rooms were clean and beautiful. We will stay there again in a heartbeat.

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/09/06
I am 52, and I have visited and stayed at the Monteleone since I was 6 years old. It is definitely the hotel we stay when my family is in New Orleans. The lobey is from a style gone by.
