My wife and I were going to the State Lodge every year and sometimes twice a year, and we tow our boat there. Several years ago the State Dock raised their boat slip rates to $25.oo per night. it has always been my favorite place, mainly since i grew up right around at lake cumberland we loved going down to the lake for the weekend. it is the most beautiful place i have ever seen and i was lucky to grow up around it.

IT ROCKS! Great for family gatherings and reunions! Good food. The cleanest place you will stay. Good old fashioned hospitality. Lot of fun with kids, board games and game rooms. Simple no extra frills. The frills is the fact that the place is made of stone, wood, solid materials and you are surrounded by beauty.

We loved it. Something for the entire family to do and enjoy.
Abundant wildlife, beautiful undisturbed views and every ammenity we desired.

There is no disliking this place.I love going to Lake Cumberland State Resort Park. They have things to do for the whole family. We go there often just for the day to picnic and to get away from our daily routins. They Have a dinning area that over looks the lake.The food..Great, service..Great.It's a must go place in Kentucky.
