We had 2 rooms booked for 10/4/09. As soon as we walked into the rooms, we were hit by a very strong mold/mildew order. We went back to the front desk, where we were given two rooms in a different wing. Unfortunately, it was no better. We did not stay there, and ended up getting a hotel room across the street.

Arriving: Realizing this to be a large spread out hotel - something I could easily observe from the entrance - I kept my luggage in the car as I entered the somewhat charming looking Holiday Inn North. The hotel entrance looked more like an old southern inn / plantation house than a chain hotel. To my surprise the lobby was well appointed with ...

The Holiday Inn N. is situated next to a very busy 2-lane highway. There are no malls, stores restaurants or anything of the sort nearby. Nor are you anywhere near downtown Lexington. Overpriced

Stayed Labor day weekend on business. The staff was excellent. Paid $120 a night plus tax using holiday inn priority card. Ceiling was filthy,,,room has moldy, musty smell. Overpriced for older hotel in need of cleaning and renovation.
Lots of things to do and a great pool area. Located close to a lot of things and the staff was nice.
