This was my 2nd time staying here. It's a nice hotel. The hot tub was just Very HOT and the pool was quite cold, even being July. Otherwise the guy at the front desk was very nice, and it was pretty quiet, even through we had I think a soccer team staying there. I got a military rate on a holiday weekend which i wasn't expecting and that was cool..Thank you.
I made reservations for a King size room non smoking, when I arrived they gave me a double bed room, I went back to the desk they acted like they didnt have any other room. I told them I will leave and stay some place else, thay told me thay found a king, I checked it out and it was a handycap room I went back and told they i was leaving then they took someone elses room and gave me what I had reserved in the begining. the place is in bad shape.
it has seen better days-----needs to have the lobby completely redone. outdated, threadbare furniture, tacky walls and art. don't they have and guidelines for calling something a "holiday inn"? pool area is actually scary! lots of aother places to chooses from close by.
During our recent stay at this Holiday Inn location we were very disappointed with the attitude of the front desk staff which we encountered. During our few stops at the front desk we were never met with a smile. The responses to our questions were short and brusque. The two or three people we spoke with didn't offer any assistance beyond ...
We went for a basketball tournament. When we walked in the room it smelled like stale smoke and what ever they tried to cover it up with. The didn't have any sugar packets and creamer for the rooms. They only had one ping pong paddle, missing a ball for the pool table, only onr golf club(the boys could have had a great time with this). ...
Maintenance staff was very helpful as well as a front desk clerk. Hotel restaurant for breakfast was bad (terrible value). As another reviewer stated, this motel is dated and good use a general facelift. Look at newer hotels.
