Still trying to fix / renovate after TWO years? I called and said its been a year, dont think so...We stayed there in 2007 and they were renovating then, c'mon stop telling stories. Staff, front desk (Lori) was very un-friendly needs to take classes on pleasantness! The rooms are not comfortable and the prices are too high, a resort is not what it is, its a MOTEL
2 thumbs down. I got a cheap room cause it was half renovated, the only good thing about the room was the flat screen tv, it had new floors which the floor was dirty. it was ok for the price i paid. Service was not to good, need to be more friendly.but hey thats what u get for a cheap room, Bad service and a guest who doesn't want to stay there again.
We stayed here during the summer of 2008. The room was a renovated room and was very nice. For the money you could not find a better location or room. No one bothers you and you are able to enjoy Hawaii's Best.
The rooms are being updated, in room internet and a great view of the bay. The previouse owner must have let the place run down but it is getting better. I will be staying over the holidays. Not a 5 star but more than a 3.
If you need to good night sleep, don't stay there. The renovated floors are all tiled (probably saves them money on maintenance) with no carpet so you would hear every bit of noise. Coughing, footsteps, doors closing are very loud. The whole place is dingy and run down. We had to move rooms at 11:30 pm because someone in the next room was ...
Staff very unfriendly. I asked if we could ptint boarding passes and was told no by the guys in front desk on sunday. Was told saturday by lori that i could. Place is run down.renovations are amateur. Carpet is dirty. No restaurant. Banging and drilling started at 645am on monday. No apologies, So we checked out early. Tubs are stained (we stayed in ...
This is a fantastic place. I think that it will definitely be a place to reckon with when the times comes. We have been there before and the renovation is coming along really well..
Best view money can buy. Our room as we were told when we were at the front desk was a renovated room. This spacious yet ala-Japanese mode seems to work for the hotel. With its Japanese look, all that is missing is a Japanese rock garden to make us fill that we are in Japan. Hence, the Queen Lili'uokalani Garden about a 5 minutes walk away ...
I don't think that people understand that Naniloa was not upkept by the previous owners for over 20 years. When it was taken over by a local company, it was in a total mess and I like what they are doing to the place -- renovations and all.
I had stayed at Naniloa over the Chinese New Year weekend 2008 and found that the room was really ...
Get the newly renovated, ocean front room...it's awesome! The price is great for a room that looks like a 4 star hotel...very modern but still charming and the ocean front balcony is heavenly. No frills but excellent for the price. I was a bit nervous after reading all those bad reviews but as long as you have the renovated ocean front room it's worth it!!
