The hotel was dirty and my room had little bugs in the sleeper. The pool looks to be on the dirty and ugly side. The view is good. The staff is non-existant. You couldn't even get them to answer the front desk. The bathtub didn't work and with all the problems that we had. They gave us free parking for one night (a whole $18.00) ...

We stayed at the Park Shore Waikiki from 4/7-4/15/07. Yes, the room is a bit on the small side, but for the small amount of time we spent in the room, it was fine. The staff was great, especially the valet attendants. Yes, we paid the $18.00 per day to valet and that hurt a bit, but the hotel is in such a great spot in Waikiki. For those on a budget, this hotel is perfect.

You can get a nice view for an extra fifty bucks. Pay extra and get the view of Diamond Head, but this place also charges $18 a day for parking. There were no luggage racks available to move bags to our room. Staff was very chilly. They would make you wait while they fiddled on their paperwork. They offered no advice on tours or things to do. Hotel is in great location. Easy access to H-1 to get to other parts of the island. Walking distance to everything in Waikiki. There is a bus stop right outside lobby to Diamond Head and other locations. Great view. Staff was very friendly. Rooms are nothing to get excited over, clean and adequet for our purposes, sleeping and showering. Beds were good and A/C worked. Restaurant/nightclub seemed good and hopping.

Room was unclean. Carpet was gross. Sheets felt like tree bark. Just felt like stuff was crawling all over me. I literally started itching. I didn't wanna touch anything in the room. It had the most excellent view though. It's a pity they are not trying to improve the quality of service because if they did they would outsell the Sheraton, Hyatt, or Marriott (where we ended up) and was glad we moved!

Our party of four just returned from Hawaii and were happily surprised at our accommodations at the Park Shore.
