The neighborhood made us fear for our lives as there is a homeless colony camped in the park. The small room was overpriced and in no way resembled the picture on the website. We can say that the pool area was nice.

There are no restaurants nearby other than the restaurant in the hotel. As others have noted, it is extremely noisy.

For the same price, we would recommend staying in Waikiki and taking a cab to the airport.

I will stay at the Waikiki Sands Villa next time even though they were a less convenient location and charged $10 per day for parking because the facility was in better condition and the rooms were quieter and had free internet access.
