i went here as a school band trip. the rooms were very clean and the staff was friendly. there are much nicer hotels in Oahu, but this one was still really nice. we didnt have any problems in the rooms except for one time when the sink got backed up. it was gross. but, it happens. the staff came and fixed it right away.

ROOMS WERE ALWAYS CLEAN. GREAT STAFF. SHORT WALK TO BEACH AND ALL DIFFERENT KIND OF STORES. WE ENJOYED OUR STAY AT THE OHANA EAST. DEFINITELY PLAN TO GO BACK!!!!

It is hard to get to from the airport, we spent at least an hour trying to get to it. There are lots of one way streets that make it difficult. It is quite a walk to the beach from here. No-frills, clean, two blocks from the beach and the main strip in Waikiki. Decor is dated and our room was fairly small but for around $120, it was a very fair deal.

The employees were very very rude, service was bad, room was noisey, walls are paper thin, will never use this hotel again,worst place i have stayed in in all my trips to Hawaii.

Stayed the week of thanksgiving, found the staff friendly and helpful. Location was close to everything we did, Only complaint was small bathroom,but who spends a lot of time their anyway. Great restraunt downstairs for breakfast,good food good value. Will definatelyconsider when returning later this year.
